Welcome to our page! We are Caleb and Rachel Darden. We met in November 2021 and got married on May 21, 2023. We have been blessed to start our marriage serving the Lord in Kenya, and we are excited to share how God called us to this wonderful country.

Areas of Service

Mercy Nairobi

Mercy Nairobi, a church planted out of our home church, Mercy Charlotte, began its journey when Pastor Allan and his family moved to Nairobi in June 2022. Their mission was to establish both the church and Mercy House.

Mercy House

Mercy House opened its doors on April 29, 2023, welcoming seven women and their fifteen children. The vision for Mercy House was born out of a deep understanding of the struggles faced by these women and their children on the streets of Nairobi.

West Nairobi School

West Nairobi School (WNS) was established in 1996 to cater to the educational needs of children of missionaries serving in Kenya. In 2003, WNS joined the Network of International Christian Schools (NICS), an organization committed to spreading Christ’s teachings through international Christian education.

We are so thankful that God called us as individuals to overseas missions before we met. Rachel’s was a country-specific calling and Caleb’s was a vocational-specific calling. God had it planned the entire time. Now we get to bring those callings together to serve him through teaching and various ministries in Nairobi, Kenya.
