Mercy House

Mercy House opened its doors on April 29, 2023, welcoming seven women and their fifteen children. The vision for Mercy House was born out of a deep understanding of the struggles faced by these women and their children on the streets of Nairobi. Our primary goal at Mercy House is to share the love of Christ and the salvation that comes through faith in Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. However, we also aim to help these women and children transition from homelessness to independent, sustainable living.

Our approach begins by addressing their immediate physical needs, providing clothing, shelter, and food. We then focus on their emotional well-being through counseling services. Social needs through providing community and parenting classes. Lastly, we invest in their future by offering real-life vocational training, equipping them with the skills needed for a sustainable livelihood. In this way, Mercy House strives to provide a comprehensive support system that empowers these women and children to build a better future. We look forward to seeing the success of Mercy House through the provision and guidance which only God can provide.
